One in the Cannes
Adam's recent film short, "Till Death", was viewed at the 2004 Festival in Cannes, France.  The film was featured in a docket of "dramatic short subjects" films along several others. (learn more)

Prepping A Shot
"Till Death" filmed for 6 straight nights. Joseph Rubinstein, the Cinematographer, and Adam getting set to film the accident sequence.
Daytime Shooting
5200 feet of 16 mm film was shot, or 2 hrs and 40 minutes of footage for an 18 minute short.

Night Owl
A night owl, Smiley said the night shoot brought out her creative side, and that the cold and eerie atmosphere worked for her character.
